Go-to-market Intern (sales) | Rocketship
The Tone:
Rocketship builds an AI app builder with a built-in AI sales team. This remote internship helps drive signups for the platform from diverse founders, app builders, and SMBs. You’ll gain hands-on experience in modern AI sales and GTM strategy at an early-stage startup.
The TL;DR
• Role: Go-to-market Intern (sales)
• Mission: Drive new signups across various SMB markets and contribute to GTM strategy.
• Tech Stack: CRM, Wise, PayPal, Stripe
What You’ll Actually Do
• Identify: Pinpoint businesses that would benefit from Rocketship’s AI app builder.
• Outreach: Engage prospects via email, LinkedIn, cold calls, content posts, or your network.
• Acquire: Facilitate demos or secure direct paid sign-ups for the platform.
• Contribute: Help refine GTM strategy, messaging experiments, and channel testing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current undergrad or graduate students, recent grads, or content creators based in the US.
• Experience: No prior sales experience required; 5+ hours per week minimum commitment. Existing audience (4k+ followers) or strong network is a strong plus.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, self-directed, comfortable with rejection, and a desire to learn about AI, startups, or modern sales.
