Job Description: Tax Winter 2026 Internship – Sunrise, FL
CohnReznick is seeking Tax Winter Interns to join their Sunrise, FL office from January to April 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in public accounting within a dynamic, growing firm.
Work Model:
This is a hybrid position, meaning team members are expected to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week to foster in-person collaboration.
Your Team:
As an intern, you will be an integral part of an Engagement Team, collaborating with other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. You will be assigned a Performance Coach to establish goals, provide feedback, and support your career path, and a CR Friend to help you acclimate to the firm.

Your Role:
As a Tax Winter Intern, your primary responsibility will be to become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and to perform these procedures accurately, thoroughly, and timely, in accordance with firm standards.
Key Responsibilities Include (But Not Limited To):
• Working on all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and various accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.
• Assisting the team with daily client workflow and tasks.
Your Experience (Required Qualifications):
CohnReznick is looking for dedicated students who are driven by new challenges and growth opportunities, exhibit strong teamwork, provide world-class client service, and are interested in diverse industries. Successful candidates will possess:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2026 and September 2027, aiming for CPA licensure.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall coursework.
• Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship.
• Demonstrated leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
• Prior work or internship experience is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proof of work authorization, such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status, is required for application.
