Pinelake Church is a ministry organization with multiple campuses located in Clinton, Madison, Reservoir (Brandon), Oxford, and Starkville. Its mission and ministry purposes revolve around glorifying Christ, and it focuses on developing the next generation of ministry leaders, particularly through NextGen ministries (preschool through 12th grade).

Job Description: Summer Intern

This is an 11-week paid summer internship beginning in May 2026, designed to equip and inspire the next generation of ministry leaders.

Role Purpose:
As a Summer Intern, you will serve alongside Pinelake Church staff to support NextGen ministries (preschool through 12th grade). The program aims to provide hands-on ministry experience, leadership training, and personal spiritual development, preparing you to make an impact for Christ now and in the future. There is also potential to explore other areas of ministry based on your passions and interests.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be a growing disciple of Christ.
• Invest spiritually in children and students.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of summer camps, programs, and events in Kids and Student ministries across all Pinelake campuses.
• Provide servant leadership where needed.
• Participate in weekend services and ministry-specific events at Pinelake Church throughout the summer.
• Attend orientation, training, and debriefing events.
• Follow the policies and procedures of Pinelake Church.
All duties are expected to be performed with excellence in a manner that glorifies Christ and furthers the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church.

Qualifications:
• Must have completed your freshman year of college.
• Must be a growing disciple of Christ.

Location:
Interns will be assigned to one of Pinelake’s campuses, which include Clinton, Madison, Reservoir (Brandon), Oxford, and Starkville.
