Trading Internship Program

Overview:
The Susquehanna Trading Internship offers a unique opportunity to delve into the world of quantitative trading. Interns will divide their time between practical experience on a trading desk and structured education in a classroom setting, ensuring comprehensive preparation for a career in quant trading.

During the trading desk phase, interns will be fully immersed within an existing trading team, working directly alongside an experienced trader who will serve as a mentor. This hands-on experience provides practical insights into daily trading operations.

The educational component provides interns with industry-leading training in options theory and decision science. This training is delivered by traders specifically dedicated to trader development. Students with a STEM background are encouraged to apply, as they can directly apply their quantitative skills to learn how Susquehanna utilizes game theory, decision science, and cutting-edge technology in its trading strategies.

The primary goal of this ten-week program is to provide interns with deep exposure to trading, enabling them to make an informed decision about pursuing a full-time career in this field.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
Graduation Timeline: Intention to graduate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and be available to begin full-time employment by August 2027.
Skills:
Exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills are paramount.
General computer skills are required, with computer programming skills considered a significant plus.
Interests: A demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities.
Work Environment Suitability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Compensation:
Trading Interns at Susquehanna will receive a $5,500 weekly base salary during the ten-week program. In addition to the base salary, interns will also receive a signing bonus, housing, breakfast and lunch, and other listed perks.
