Job Description

This is an internship role/part-time job specifically designed for students currently enrolled in Chemistry or Biology programs. The position is located on-site at HPE’s Fort Wayne, IN facility.

Key day-to-day responsibilities for this role include:
• Formulation blending.
• Conducting lab testing utilizing various analytical instruments such as EDXRF, FTIR, and Spectrophotometer, as well as traditional wet chemical methods.
• Performing microscopic analysis of wastewater samples.

The internship is structured to offer hands-on experience within a professional environment, with direct guidance from experienced professionals at HPE.

Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following:
• Demonstrated Laboratory Skills and strong Chemistry knowledge.
• Proficiency in Analytical Skills for effective data interpretation and problem-solving.
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A genuine passion for learning and applying new concepts.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Current enrollment in a Chemistry or Biology program.
