Duration: June – August (6-8 weeks)
This Sales Internship Program at GALLO is a unique 6-8 week opportunity designed for passionate individuals to gain an immersive, hands-on experience within the dynamic Sales organization. Interns will engage in job shadowing and training across various roles and projects, collaborating with management to develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges. The program aims to nurture future leaders within a diverse and inclusive environment.
A Taste of What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities and Rotations):
During the internship, participants will rotate through key commercial assignments:
• Field Sales Representative: Gain initial insights into retail sales, merchandising, and management techniques.
• Market Development Manager: Work alongside to understand brand objectives and training roles.
• Business Intelligence Manager: Explore strategic business facets, including new product launches and pricing strategies.
• Other Areas: Learn from managers in Spirits, Fine Wine, and Shopper Marketing.
The internship culminates in the completion of a project tailored to the intern’s interests, which will be presented to the management team, showcasing findings and solutions.
Internship Locations:
The program is offered in multiple locations, including Chicago, Boston, Tampa, New Jersey, DC, Charlotte, New York, Minnesota, Indiana, California, Detroit, New Hampshire, and Dallas.
What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications):
• Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree; OR have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. A motor vehicle check (MVR) will be conducted. Must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire if needed.
• Required to be 21 years of age or older. (Also requires 18 years or older).
• Required to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
• Required to travel up to 40% of the time to perform job duties.
