Job Title: Spring Internship (Accounting Intern)
Program Overview:
This spring internship provides an opportunity to explore career preferences in a real-world accounting setting. Interns are responsible for routine assignments aligned with their area of focus.
Reporting Structure:
Interns report directly to Senior Accountants and Job Managers.

• Work Hours: Interns are expected to work a minimum of 35 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:
• Perform routine assignments based on the assigned area of focus.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
What You’ll Learn:
• Client Interaction: How to effectively interact with clients and network with Citrin Cooperman accounting professionals.
• Report Preparation: How to assist with and prepare various cost reports, financial statements, and/or tax returns (specific to department).
• Data Analysis: How to analyze and review financial data across a variety of industries and situations.
• Technical Knowledge: Gain a working knowledge of accounting research, relevant software, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting.
• Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a strong passion for accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience: Involvement in extracurricular activities and/or prior work experience.
• Academic Achievement: Demonstrated academic success.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
