Workforce Management Specialist | System One

The Tone:
This is a multiyear contract role at System One, with a hybrid work model reporting to Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL. System One is a staffing and solutions company dedicated to connecting talent with opportunities. This role is crucial for providing operational support to workforce management functions, ensuring accurate time recording, efficient scheduling, and optimal allocation of staff to meet operational goals.

• Mission: To ensure efficient staffing and accurate timekeeping within the workforce management system through operational support and administrative functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Schedule Management: Create and modify staff schedules using workforce management software to meet operational demands.
• Adherence Monitoring: Monitor real-time staffing schedule adherence to ensure performance remains within pre-set parameters and work with management to resolve issues.
• Resource Allocation: Assist in coordinating the appropriate allocation and availability of staff to achieve optimum workforce management goals.
• Process Documentation: Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reference tools derived from scheduling software and other sources.
• Request Processing: Review and approve or decline staff requests for Paid Time Off (PTO), Overtime (OT), leave, and learning and development workshops based on established guidelines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Familiarity with workforce management processes, resource planning, and various workforce management systems is required.
• Experience: Exposure to workforce management environments and experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals.
• Skills: Basic skill in maintaining accuracy with attention to detail, basic organizational, planning, and time management skills, and basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the organization’s functions, philosophy, operations, and organizational objectives.
