The TL;DR

• Pay: €1791–€1962 monthly
• Team: Underwriting Surety Domestic team
• Mission: This person will support the domestic surety underwriting team by performing independent tasks and contributing to credit line underwriting decisions.
• Tech Stack: MS-Office, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Evaluate and analyze annual financial statements and interim credit information of customers, then upload the results and documents into internal Zurich systems.
• Collaborate: Assist in the creation of evaluations and presentations for team and department-level reporting.
• Underwrite: Draft credit proposals with appropriate recommendations in tandem with experienced underwriters after completing your initial training.
• Support: Provide technical assistance for questions related to MS-Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
• Communicate: Prepare external correspondence such as liability statements, balance confirmations, and other official letters for customers and brokers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Full-time enrolled student, ideally in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field. Candidates pursuing a part-time or integrated study program cannot be considered. Familiarity with balance sheet analysis and corporate accounting according to HGB/IFRS standards is required.
• Experience: A strong interest in and understanding of economic contexts and markets. Demonstrated proficient use of MS-Office products, including Word and Excel.
• Skills: Possess a quick comprehension, high communication ability, and enjoy working collaboratively within a team. Very good written and spoken German and English language proficiency is essential.
