About the Role
This is a part-time, remote volunteer role supporting No Barriers Education Inc. The consultant will support the redesign and organization of the organization’s website using Wix, with a primary focus on improving the user experience and layout of informational pages that help students understand educational pathways and access higher education and career opportunities.

What You’ll Do
• Support the redesign and organization of the No Barriers Education website using Wix.
• Improve the user experience and layout of informational pages.
• Help structure content in a clear, student-friendly way.
• Redesign existing website pages in Wix.
• Improve layout and readability.
• Assist in organizing educational resources and information by student need or pathway.
• Collaborate with the founder on content structure.
• Help ensure the site is accessible, intuitive, and welcoming to underserved students.

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Have experience using Wix for website design or content management.
• Have an interest in UI/UX design, web design, or digital accessibility.
• Have strong attention to detail and ability to organize information clearly.
• Have a passion for education, social impact, and supporting underserved communities.
• Have the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Have strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate.

Bonus Qualifications
• Experience with content design, UX, or accessibility principles.
• Familiarity with education systems, GED programs, or college access.
