Program Manager, Academic Affairs | Vituity

• Mission: To strengthen, manage, and grow Vituity’s residency and fellowship programs by ensuring operational effectiveness, compliance, and strategic alignment with healthcare transformation goals.
• Tech Stack: Applicant tracking system, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Partner: Serve as a trusted Business Partner to the Director of Academic Affairs, providing consultation and operational support.
• Program Management: Strengthen and manage relationships with Vituity Residency and Fellowship Programs, ensuring operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Program Launch: Lead initiatives for new academic programs, including onboarding program directors and creating system infrastructure.
• Performance Tracking: Track and report on academic program performance metrics, developing dashboards to inform leadership decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
• Strategic Advocacy: Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Academic Affairs in business development discussions and present to hospital leadership and C-suite executives to advocate for Vituity’s programs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level position focused on supporting academic affairs within healthcare. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a strong understanding of physician residency and/or fellowship programs and basic hospital operations.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience working with physician residency and/or fellowship programs required; experience in a client-facing role required. Experience managing executive-level relationships with hospital leadership and C-suite stakeholders preferred.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for formal presentations; outstanding listening skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; solid presentation skills to leverage data; strong business acumen to evaluate partnership viability; proven stakeholder management at the executive level.
• Bonus: Experience working in higher education; proficiency with applicant tracking systems or Salesforce; background in contract development, partnership management, or business development in a healthcare setting.
