Job Description: Web Design and SEO Intern
This is a remote internship opportunity for a Web Design and SEO Intern. The intern will play a crucial role in the organization’s digital presence and user engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Web Design and Development: Designing and developing web pages on the organization’s WordPress site.
• Front-End Development: Contributing to the front-end development aspects of the website.
• Responsive Web Design: Creating and implementing responsive web designs to ensure optimal viewing across various devices.
• User Interface (UI) Design: Focusing on user interface design to enhance usability.
• Optimization: Working on optimizing viewership for the website.
• Accessibility Compliance: Ensuring that the website complies with current accessibility standards.
• Graphic Design: Undertaking various graphic design tasks aimed at creating an engaging and user-friendly website experience.
Qualifications:
• Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development and User Interface Design.
• Competence in Graphic Design.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely.
• A passion for human rights and an understanding of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is highly desirable.
• Candidates should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
This role is offered without monetary compensation. However, Unite for Rights is able to provide recommendations of service or a contract, which can be aligned with university credit requirements.
