This Warehouse Manager position plays a pivotal role in supporting management with the comprehensive oversight of daily warehouse operations. • Mission: To assist management in overseeing comprehensive warehouse operations, including inventory, fleet, and day-to-day activities, striving for operational excellence.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Inventory & Rotation: Efficiently manage the receiving of incoming deliveries and meticulously ensure the proper warehouse rotation of products, which includes maintaining accurate inventory counts and tracking for items both on trucks and within the warehouse facility.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Proactively inspect and diligently maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the warehouse. This also involves assisting with the careful repackaging of products and overseeing the appropriate disposal of damaged or out-of-date stock.
• Fleet Coordination: Provide essential support by assisting with the precise scheduling and timely delivery of fleet vehicles for routine maintenance, ensuring the operational readiness and longevity of the company’s transportation assets.
• Operational Reviews: Conduct detailed quarterly business reviews to effectively update Regional Accounts, providing insights into business performance, channel competition, identifying new opportunities, and discussing ongoing promotions.
• Security Support: Act as a designated secondary point of contact for managing warehouse access and diligently enforcing security protocols, contributing to the overall safety and integrity of the facility.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a foundational understanding of core warehouse operations and the principles of efficient product flow and storage.
• Experience: Candidates must successfully pass clear background and drug testing as a condition of employment.
• Skills: Possess excellent communication, organizational, and mathematical skills to manage tasks effectively. The ability to regularly lift and move 25 lbs. over your head is also necessary for various operational duties.
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include prior experience working in a warehouse environment, a high school diploma or equivalent education, previous sales experience, and specific knowledge of the beverage market. Furthermore, the ability to obtain or already possess a medical DOT certification is a significant advantage.
