Manufacturing Development Program – Carolina | Niagara Bottling
The Tone:
This is a 15-month full-time Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) located at the Niagara Bottling Carolina plant. Niagara Bottling is a leading beverage manufacturer committed to delivering an unbeatable combination of quality, price, and service. This program aims to cultivate future leaders by providing comprehensive, hands-on experience across a broad range of manufacturing functions. Participants will gain the skills necessary to lead people or processes effectively within the company.
The TL;DR
• Role: Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) Participant
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person Carolina plant, with crucial relocation expected after program completion
• Mission: Learn to be a leader of people or processes by gaining hands-on experience, executing project work, and engaging in professional development.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain: First-hand experience rotating through plant departments, including Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse.
• Lead: A manufacturing shift as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months, understanding the scope and importance of the role.
• Execute: Cost or time-saving projects that directly impact the plant and Niagara’s performance.
• Develop: Professional skills through formal training in Niagara culture, self-awareness, and leadership.
• Present: Experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional with a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience: 0 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment, or managing people/projects.
• Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, desire to expand knowledge, ability to work in a team environment, commitment to continuous improvement, physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or any field; 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment or managing people/projects; 1 year of internship experience.
