Warehouse Manager | Matador Distributing LLC

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Matador Distributing LLC. Matador Distributing is dedicated to distributing products, likely within the beverage market, and this role directly supports its operational success. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be instrumental in assisting management with crucial warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and contributing to overall operational excellence across inventory, fleet, and general warehouse management.

• Mission: To assist management in the comprehensive oversight of warehouse operations, encompassing inventory, fleet, and general warehouse management, with the ultimate goal of achieving operational excellence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Management: Receive deliveries, ensuring proper warehouse rotation of products to maintain freshness and accessibility.
• Inventory Accuracy: Assist the Operations Manager with daily inventory processes, ensuring accurate counting and tracking of products on trucks and within the warehouse.
• Warehouse Upkeep: Regularly inspect the warehouse to maintain its cleanliness and optimal overall condition, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
• Product Repackaging & Disposal: Support the repackaging of products to RBNA standards and facilitate their reintroduction into circulation, alongside assisting with the proper disposal of damaged or out-of-date product.
• Fleet Maintenance Support: Provide assistance with scheduling and coordinating the delivery of fleet vehicles for routine maintenance, ensuring operational readiness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is a Manager level role focused on warehouse operations. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
• Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, indicating a familiarity with logistical processes and product handling.
• Skills: Candidates must possess excellent communication, organizational, and mathematical skills for effective warehouse management and inventory tracking. The ability to regularly lift and move 25 lbs. overhead is also required for this physically active role.
• Bonus: Prior sales experience is preferred, offering a broader understanding of product flow and customer needs. Knowledge of the beverage market is also a plus, along with the ability to obtain or currently possess a medical DOT certification.
