What You’ll Actually Do
• Package Handling: Efficiently load packages of various sizes onto designated transport vehicles and conveyor systems to ensure timely dispatch.
• Incoming Freight: Unload a variety of packages from incoming trucks and containers, carefully moving them to designated sorting areas.
• Sorting Operations: Accurately sort packages by size, destination, and other criteria to facilitate their correct routing through the distribution network.
• Physical Activity: Perform fast-paced and physically demanding warehouse duties, which contribute to daily fitness and operational efficiency.
• Shift Work: Adhere to varied shift lengths based on daily package volume, with part-time employees working 3-6 hours and full-time employees working 6-10 hours, including potential overtime after 40 hours per week.
