• Team: Reports to the Manager, ThunderVision
• Mission: This intern supports the video production team by assisting with digital archiving, content editing, and live broadcast operations to enhance the in-arena experience and team media efforts.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Sony cameras, Canon cameras, Panasonic cameras, Avid, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Ross XPression, Click FX, Evertz DreamCatcher

What You’ll Actually Do
• Archive Management: Organize and maintain digital media, including logging camera shots from in-arena shows and creating clips and melts from game footage.
• Content Editing: Edit pre-designed templates to produce high-quality video content for various platforms.
• Production Support: Assist in assembling backdrops and lighting equipment for video shoots.
• Skill Development: Learn proper camera techniques using DSLR and broadcast cameras, and develop editing skills in color correction, strategic shot selection, and pacing.
• Game Day Assistance: Shadow ThunderVision personnel during select home games to observe live production.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and eligible to receive course credit; students pursuing degrees in broadcasting, video production, marketing, or motion graphics are preferred.
• Experience: Student level, with some experience using Sony, Canon, and Panasonic cameras preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication and listening skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel), and the ability to adapt content across multiple platforms.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Avid, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and knowledge of control room equipment such as Ross XPression, Click FX, and Evertz DreamCatcher.
