Video Production Intern | Worcester Railers HC

The Tone:
This is an internship at Worcester Railers HC, located in Worcester, MA. The Worcester Railers HC is an ECHL team. This role is crucial for capturing, editing, and distributing engaging video content that enhances the fan experience during games and across social media platforms. Interns play a vital part in maintaining the team’s visual presence and connecting with its audience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Shooting: Serve as a shooter during Worcester Railers home games and at select special events in the surrounding Worcester area.
• Content Creation: Capture, edit, and distribute footage for both in-game displays and social media use.
• Video Production: Produce and edit short-form content, including highlight packages, event recaps, hype videos, and other special projects.
• Asset Management: Organize, label, and effectively manage video footage and digital assets.
• Support: Perform additional duties as assigned to support the video production team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student. Currently enrolled in college and able to receive college credit for the internship.
• Experience: Prior experience working in a video production environment is preferred. Must be dependable, able to handle multiple tasks, and commit to 10 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Understanding of camera equipment operation, proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro AND/OR Final Cut Pro, and strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills. Must have strong verbal skills and work well in a small-office environment.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Sony cameras, cinema & photography lenses, additional abilities with Adobe Creative Cloud and Davinci Resolve, ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, and adaptability to changing game situations and tight deadlines.
