• Mission: Manage PHP and regional interest rate risk exposures while delivering solutions to clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Optimize risk-adjusted returns from trading positions within established risk frameworks.
• Execute: Implement trading and hedging strategies across interest rate derivatives, government securities, and other approved products.
• Provide: Deliver pricing, liquidity, and risk management solutions to clients.
• Monitor: Oversee market, liquidity, credit, operational, and conduct risks associated with the trading portfolio.
• Analyze: Interpret macroeconomic developments, central bank policy, and market trends affecting rates products.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, with a senior career level in rates trading or related markets.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in rates trading, interest rate derivatives, or related markets within a financial institution, including managing trading portfolios and market risk within established frameworks.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of interest rate swaps, money markets, government securities, and related products, with an understanding of APAC rates markets and regional macroeconomic developments; strong analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills; proven ability to deliver pricing, liquidity, and risk management solutions to clients; strong stakeholder management skills, integrity, professionalism, and risk awareness.
