• Mission: Facilitate the delivery of Rates products to Financial Institution clients by developing and expanding relationships, ensuring strict risk controls, and aligning with global ambitions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, major dealing platforms involved in global rates transactions
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relationship Management: Manage and oversee your portfolio of Financial Institution clients, while bringing, developing, and expanding new relationships with attention to risk controls.
• Strategy Execution: Contribute meaningfully to the execution of departmental strategy by aligning daily activities with regional, international, and entity business objectives.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Conduct all business activities in strict accordance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, identifying, monitoring, and escalating risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with broader Global Markets, Corporate Investment Bank, and Japan Corporate Investment Bank teams to develop international business opportunities.
• Client Communication and Support: Respond promptly to client enquiries, providing clear explanations of product offerings and associated risks and rewards for informed decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Extensive experience selling rates products within an investment banking context directly to Financial Institution clients.
• Experience: Demonstrated technical proficiency coupled with advanced numerical skills and competence utilizing major dealing platforms involved in global rates transactions.
• Skills: Exemplary communication abilities, a results-oriented approach with accountability, proactive disposition, sound judgment with structured decision-making, creative thinking, exceptional interpersonal skills, meticulous attention to detail, composure under pressure, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
