This is a full-time hybrid role at Veris Insights, located in Washington, DC. Veris Insights, an 80+ person organization founded in 2016, provides rigorous research and analytics to early careers and recruiting leaders. This Business Development Analyst role, part of an Entry Talent Accelerator Program, is crucial for generating interest among senior leaders in Veris Insights’ memberships and developing foundational client-facing and revenue-generating skills within the firm. The program is designed for ambitious individuals looking to accelerate their growth in client-facing and revenue-generating environments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Direct Outreach: Execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified pipeline.
• Performance Improvement: Work toward defined activity, prospecting, and pipeline-generation goals, using performance data and strategy to improve results.
• Relationship Building: Generate interest and build relationships with senior Talent Acquisition and University Recruiting leaders.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner with Account Advisors to prioritize accounts, identify the right senior stakeholders, and develop tailored prospecting strategies.
• Program Participation: Collaborate with your mentor to build and execute an individualized growth plan and with cohort peers on team initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between May and December 2026; Entry-Level.
• Experience: Internship, part-time, or other experience in business development, sales development, recruiting, fundraising, hospitality, customer success, or similar client-facing environments is a plus.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, comfort operating in fast-paced environments, demonstrated curiosity, coachability, learning agility, a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Bonus: Familiarity with sales and prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
