Vice President Investment Banking (Healthcare) | Delmar Nord

The TL;DR
• Role: Mid-to-Senior Level
• Team: Leads Associates and Analysts; coordinates with internal ECM, DCM, legal, and compliance teams, and external stakeholders.
• Mission: Drives investment banking transaction execution, client relationship management, and business development specifically within the healthcare sector.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Execution: Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and trusted relationships.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities specifically within the healthcare sector.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts, providing guidance on their technical work and career development.
• Deliverable Oversight: Oversee the preparation of all client deliverables including pitch books, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, and board materials.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, for a Vice President level investment banking professional.
• Experience: 5–8+ years of investment banking experience, with significant exposure to healthcare transactions and a proven track record of leading deal execution in M&A or capital markets.
• Skills: Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise, a strong understanding of healthcare subsectors, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and demonstrated leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Bonus: An MBA or advanced degree is preferred, along with familiarity with regulatory frameworks and reimbursement models.
