This Venture Intern role is vital for assisting the investment team with critical functions such as sourcing potential opportunities, conducting diligence, fostering community, and supporting portfolio companies. This directly contributes to age1’s overarching mission of helping visionary teams build generational biotech companies in the longevity space.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Sourcing: Support the investment team by actively identifying and tracking promising early-stage founders and startups within the longevity ecosystem.
• Deal Flow Management: Help manage the firm’s deal flow, which includes maintaining the CRM system and diligently tracking all inbound opportunities for potential investment.
• Due Diligence: Provide essential support for due diligence processes, contributing to research and assisting with the internal documentation required for investment decisions.
• Community Engagement: Play a key role in fostering the longevity community by helping to plan and coordinate various longevity-focused events.
• Content Creation: Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership and communication efforts by assisting with the creation of blog posts, industry insights, and research reports.

• Experience: Possesses a natural aptitude for connecting with new people, proven organizational skills for planning and coordinating events, and practical experience or a keen interest in assisting with investment diligence and content creation. Furthermore, the ideal candidate has a supernatural sense of understanding the needs and feelings of various stakeholders, including founders, talent, LPs, co-investors, and portfolio companies.
