UX Strategy Lead Intern | Sports Excitement
The Tone:
This is a remote internship at Sports Excitement, a company building a global sports community platform. Focused on innovation, creativity, and cutting-edge technology, this platform will serve as a sports-specific social network tailored to the needs of athletes, families, and fans. The platform aims to simplify processes like signing children up for sports and provide engaging content and connections. This role is pivotal in supporting the design and strategic direction of the Sports Excitement user experience for both web and mobile platforms, ensuring intuitive and engaging interactions for all users within this growing global community.

What You’ll Actually Do
• User Research: Conduct user research and gather insights through methods such as interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and strategic direction.
• Strategy & Design: Map user journeys, create personas, and define information architecture and navigation to help create intuitive experiences for athletes, families, and fans.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with product, design, and engineering partners to translate business goals into effective UX strategies, wireframes, and user flows.
• Feedback & Testing: Gather and analyze user feedback, assist with usability testing, and document UX recommendations to support continuous experience improvement.
• Communication: Prepare presentations and briefs that effectively communicate UX insights and strategy to stakeholders, supporting feature prioritization and product roadmaps.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level qualification, currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Product Design, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience: Ability to conduct user research and gather insights, skills in user experience strategy (including creating user journeys, personas, and UX roadmaps aligned with business goals), and competence in wireframing and prototyping using common design tools.
• Skills: Understanding of information architecture and interaction design principles for web and mobile products, strong written and verbal communication for presenting UX recommendations, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience with product management concepts or agile workflows.
