Job Description
AirDev is seeking skilled UX Designers for a part-time, contractor position to help bring their clients’ visions to life.
Who they’re looking for:
• User Experience Design and User Interface Design:
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Ability to take ownership of the entire product experience.
• Intuitive understanding of strong user experiences and the design skills to create them.
• Experience building detailed desktop and mobile experiences for custom software products using Figma.
• Empathy for clients and their users, anticipating user needs and ensuring easy access to interface elements.
• Information Architecture:
• Ability to manage complexity and structure information clearly.
• Understanding of complex digital products and designing interfaces that clearly organize required information.
• Knowledge of how to draw attention to the most critical pieces of information.
• Communication:
• Active listener and great teammate.
• Willingness to ask questions.
• Values and listens to feedback.
• Careful and detailed written communication with teammates and clients.
Responsibilities:
• Create high-fidelity UI designs for client products using Figma:
• Design UI in Figma based on scope documents created by Product Managers and Product Directors.
• Shape the product experience through design before development begins.
• Leverage the Canvas design system:
• Utilize the Canvas modular design system to create UI designs quickly.
• Focus on leveraging Canvas assets and making customizations to meet functionality and branding requirements.
• Iterate designs based on feedback:
• Refine designs in collaboration with a Product Manager and/or Product Director before development begins.
