What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Acquisition: Assist in the acquisition and analysis of field data for project requirements.
• Information Gathering: Gather meticulous information from field notes to support project needs.
• Design Construction Orders: Independently design and prepare construction orders for overhead and underground electric distribution facilities.
• Report Generation: Prepare and submit required reports and correspondence to relevant parties.
• Communication: Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all organizational levels and external clients.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience as a distribution technician or pole surveyor is required. A valid and clean driver’s license is essential.
• Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; proficiency in preparing technical reports and documentation; strict adherence to company safety policies and prescribed standards.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) or general utility experience; knowledge of computers and software applications including MS Office products; willingness to travel regionally and potentially for extended periods.
