Job Description: University Internship – Engineering and Technology (2025)
This 12-week internship (May – August 2025) offers students pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in engineering, technology, mechanics, or other STEM fields hands-on experience. Interns will gain insights into industry processes, systems, and practices focused on meeting customer needs through flawless execution and leading-edge technology.
Responsibilities:
• Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Assisting engineers/technologists with ongoing projects through research, data analysis, and technical support.
• Participating in the design process, creating drawings or prototypes, and contributing to new product/technology development.
• Maintaining accurate records of experiments, designs, and project information; preparing reports/documentation.
• Collaborating in software development, coding, or programming tasks with engineers.
• Working as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve project goals, and identifying/addressing technical challenges.
• Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent).
• Fluency in oral and written English and effective communication skills.
• Ability to relocate for the internship duration (locations vary).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
