Role: Universal Banker

Federated Bank is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Universal Banker. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bradley, IL. As a Universal Banker, you will be a pivotal point of contact for our customers, providing comprehensive banking services and contributing to a positive branch environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service by assisting clients with a wide range of banking inquiries and needs.
  • Account Management & Sales: Proactively open and manage various types of accounts, while expertly recommending financial products and services tailored to customer needs.
  • Transaction Processing: Efficiently conduct banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
  • Problem Resolution: Skillfully address and resolve customer concerns, offering personalized solutions and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Product Promotion: Actively promote and educate customers on Federated Bank’s diverse suite of products and services, including personal, business, and agricultural banking solutions.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict compliance with all banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Branch Support: Contribute to the smooth and effective operation of the branch, supporting overall team success and operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated experience in customer service with a strong commitment to providing exemplary client assistance.
  • Banking Operations Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of banking operations, including account management and compliance protocols.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail for accurately handling transactions and addressing customer concerns.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with basic computer systems and familiarity with various banking technology applications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in business or finance are a significant plus.
  • Prior Experience (Preferred): Previous banking or financial services experience is preferred but not required. We encourage motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the financial sector to apply.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.
