Description:
This is an undergraduate engineering co-op position. Students will be assigned projects based on their skills and the company’s needs. All projects will be strategically or operationally important. Responsibilities may include:
• Improving Efficiency and Benchmarking: Partnering with leadership to identify areas for improvement and benchmarking against industry best practices.
• Process Ownership: Critically reviewing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proactively recommending solutions.
• Equipment Use: Utilizing specialized equipment and instrumentation accurately and independently.
• Tool and Model Development: Creating tools and models to enhance tracking and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement Methodologies: Learning and applying continuous improvement methodologies (PPI, Six Sigma, etc.) to promote improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration: Working collaboratively with various departments, including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance, to achieve business objectives.
Compensation and Relocation:
The hourly rate for undergraduate engineering co-ops is between $21.50 and $28.75, depending on location and cost of living. A $5,000 relocation stipend is offered if the student lives more than 50 miles from the co-op location.
Currently pursuings:
• Undergraduate student pursuing an Engineering-related degree.
• 0 years of work experience required; previous internships are preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
• Ability to champion change, achieve results, and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship (F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT visas are not accepted for this position).
