The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at Zions Bank, located in Midvale, Utah. Zions Bancorporation’s Enterprise Technology and Operations (ETO) team is focused on transforming the financial institution experience through technology and new solutions. This position in the Innovation Lab is vital for building new prototypes and managing experiments from initial idea to scalable launch. It plays a key role in delivering strategic initiatives that address real user needs and contribute to the company’s evolving workforce.

• Mission: Responsible for building new prototypes and managing experiments from ideation to proof-of-concept and scalable launch, ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives that solve user problems.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Development: Build new prototypes and convert them into fully functioning products, managing experiments from ideation through proof-of-concept to scalable launch.
• Strategy & Roadmap: Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of innovation initiatives and new concepts.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with engineering, design, business units, and external partners to develop and manage the product backlog and deliver customer value iteratively.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Define the scope, objectives, product requirements (PRDs/user stories), and success metrics for new products and experiments, owning the product lifecycle.
• Performance & Insights: Track, analyze, and communicate product KPIs, user data, and experiment results to iterate on features, resolve issues, identify opportunities, and assess associated risks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technology or software development. Extensive prototyping experience and experience with AI and integrating emerging technologies are required.
• Skills: Expert knowledge of product management practices, including agile methodologies, lean startup principles, and customer discovery. Exceptional strategic thinking, market analysis, and change management skills, along with excellent cross-functional leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities.
• Bonus: Advanced working knowledge of emerging technologies, innovation frameworks, and design thinking. Proven executive presence for presenting product strategy to executive stakeholders.
