What You’ll Actually Do
• Develops Data Strategy: Implements and supports data strategy by identifying market trends, client requirements, regulatory developments, and commercial opportunities, acting as the voice of the customer and market.
• Shapes Product Roadmap: Works across Cross Asset Reference and/or End of Day Pricing domains to shape roadmap priorities and future data investments, translating client needs into strategic initiatives.
• Manages Deliverables: Oversees the translation of client and market requirements into strategic initiatives and technical delivery plans, ensuring alignment with overall data offerings.
• Engages Stakeholders: Acts as a key liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams (Product, Commercial, Data Strategy, Engineering, Content) and external partners (clients, exchanges, contributors, vendors, regulators).
• Analyzes Market & Regulatory Landscape: Monitors market structure, regulatory developments, and competitive trends, providing critical market intelligence and competitive insight to support business decision-making and growth opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. This is a Manager-level position requiring strong experience within financial market data, reference data, pricing data, exchanges, or capital markets. Candidates must possess a deep understanding of market structure, regulatory requirements, and client workflows within this domain.
• Experience: Proven experience engaging directly with customers, exchanges, vendors, or regulators is essential.
• Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate strong commercial awareness and the ability to effectively translate external market requirements into strategic business priorities.
