• Team: Within the Product and Business Development organizations, focusing on Insurance Solutions & New Markets.
• Mission: To build cross-functional proficiency and an overall understanding of TIAA’s enterprise strategy by applying academic knowledge to solve real business challenges.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to the development and implementation of TIAA’s fixed and variable annuity products and broader insurance and retirement solutions.
• Support business strategy, innovation, and operational effectiveness initiatives that drive enterprise execution and new market opportunities.
• Apply foundational and end-to-end project management practices to coordinate workstreams, track deliverables, and ensure seamless information flow across teams.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform career trajectory, understand product offerings, and prepare for strategic partnerships.
• Lead specific workstreams, present findings, and translate insights into actionable recommendations with increasing independence.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree Required. This is an Early Career / Entry-Level role.
• Experience: No experience required. Prior participation in TIAA’s Summer Associate Internship Program is a standout preferred qualification.
• Skills: Business Acumen, Collaboration, Communication, Problem Solving, Data Analysis.
• Bonus: Background or coursework in financial services, business, economics, or a related field; demonstrated curiosity, drive, and an entrepreneurial mindset; interest in insurance, retirement products, business strategy, or product management; overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
