Infrastructure Product Portfolio/Engineer I | TD Bank

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at TD Bank, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role is vital for maintaining the operational and financial data behind core infrastructure services like Windows OS, Linux OS, Bare Metal Compute, and Private Cloud. Your work will directly support leadership and finance by providing critical data insights, reports, and dashboards necessary for strategic planning and informed decision-making within the Technology Solutions line of business.

• Mission: Owns the integrity and reporting of operational and financial data for core infrastructure services to enable informed decision-making.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Maintain current service records and associated data in the service catalog, track portfolio changes, and prepare materials for review meetings for core infrastructure services like Windows OS, Linux OS, Bare Metal Compute, and Private Cloud.
• Support: Assist budget planning by working with the budget planning team and product owners on financial analysis for core infrastructure services, ensuring correct expense categorization and tracking against budget.
• Generate: Build chargeback/showback reports, including gathering usage and cost data, and explaining the key drivers to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop: Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that visualize financial performance, capacity/utilization metrics, and overall portfolio status.
• Oversee: Keep audit and risk status records current, collect required documentation, and coordinate across services on upgrades, new offerings, and other portfolio changes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or equivalent experience, coupled with a working knowledge of tech-relevant finance concepts such as costs, allocations, chargebacks/showbacks, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience: Requires 3-5 years of experience in a financial, business analyst, or technology operations role within a medium or large enterprise setting.
• Skills: Demonstrates strong proficiency in Excel, has hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards, is comfortable interacting with technical teams and understanding high-level infrastructure concepts, and is an organized, detail-oriented, clear communicator both in writing and in person.
• Bonus: Familiarity with enterprise financial systems and cost center structures, a background in IT cost transparency or service-based financial analysis, experience with vendor and contract processes, prior work in audit, risk, or compliance, or experience with infrastructure or cloud services at a large enterprise.
