The Tone:
This is a full-time Analyst role at Citi, located in Dallas, Texas, starting in 2027. Citi is a global financial services organization dedicated to providing independent assessments of its governance, risk management, and internal control environment. The Internal Audit group acts as a change agent, working to enhance the control culture across Citigroup worldwide. This position plays a valuable role in supporting senior management decision-making around the globe by providing critical insights and assessments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Rotation: Rotate through core audit areas such as Finance, Markets & Services, Tech, Business Enablement & AI, Legal, Compliance & Risk.
• Engagement Support: Assist with end-to-end audit engagements, covering planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting phases.
• Documentation & Assessment: Complete audit workpapers and assess the design and operational effectiveness of key controls.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data and business trends to identify emerging risk patterns within various financial contexts.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess control effectiveness and recommend improvements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree or a dual Bachelor’s and Master’s between December 2026 and June 2027, with at least a 3.3 GPA preferred. This is an entry-level position for individuals not requiring U.S. work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience required, as this is a 24-month rotational leadership program providing development opportunities and structured training.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, strong oral and written communication skills, cooperation and focus in achieving group and client objectives, quick thinking and detail-oriented approach, and intellectual curiosity with a willingness to ask questions.
• Bonus: Finance education or experience is a plus.
