Technical Program Manager (TPM) Intern

Amazon is seeking highly motivated and talented students to join our team as Technical Program Manager Interns. As a TPM Intern, you will play a crucial role in driving projects from initiation to delivery, collaborating with various teams to deliver complete products.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business teams to define and solve customer-impacting problems.
• Define project requirements and clarify technical implementation through design discussions.
• Identify and analyze business-related problems, implementing novel forecasting and prediction approaches.
• Develop and execute analyses to uncover opportunities and present written business recommendations.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across organizations and external teams.
• Define analytical approaches to gain new insights and formulate process-improving recommendations.
• Influence technology at the component level.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines to deliver project requirements.

Internship Experience:

The internship program provides hands-on learning and building experiences for students interested in Industrial Design Engineering careers. You’ll work on impactful projects, engage with Amazonians for professional and personal development, expand your network, and participate in fun activities with other interns.

Currently pursuings:

Basic Currently pursuings:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with an expected conferral date between October 2025 and December 2028.
• Previous program or project management experience.

Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Understanding of industry technologies within the program or product domain (e.g., hardware, network, software, systems) and their application to problem-solving.
• Ability to delve into technical details (dependencies, design choices, operability, etc.) and drive constructive discussions with engineers.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset, proactive issue resolution skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to transform raw thoughts into clear technical documentation or direction.
• Proficiency in data collection (e.g., log files, data stores, SQL, potentially via API).
• Understanding of various technical analysis techniques and when to apply them.

Location and Start Date:

Compensation:

The base pay for this position ranges from $41.25/hr in our lowest geographic market up to $88.94/hr in our highest geographic market. Pay is determined by factors such as market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a total compensation package including equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
