• Pay: $48700 yearly, with an additional $7,730 referendum money for the 24-25 school year, prorated for mid-year hires over the next four years.
• Mission: This person guides the learning process towards curriculum goals and implements the District’s educational philosophy.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guide: Guide the learning process towards curriculum goals, setting clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects.
• Cultivate: Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Assess: Regularly assess student accomplishments, diagnose learning disabilities, and maintain accurate, complete student records.
• Implement: Assist administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct, maintaining classroom order.
• Collaborate: Plan and supervise purposeful assignments for teacher aides and volunteers, and attend required staff meetings and committees.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant subject area. Early Career level, focusing on guiding student learning within curriculum goals.
• Experience: None required.
• Skills: Strong subject content knowledge, excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication, strong time management and organizational skills, proficiency in standard office software.
• Bonus: Eligibility for Florida Department of Education Certification in the appropriate subject area; ability to devote additional hours beyond the workday for lesson preparation and grading.
