This is an internship at CohnReznick, located in Holmdel, NJ. This Tax Winter Internship offers accounting students a chance to gain hands-on experience with current tax laws and procedures, contribute to real client engagements, and accelerate their professional growth within a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Pay: $34 hourly
• Team: Works within an engagement team alongside other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
• Mission: Gain hands-on experience with current tax laws and procedures while working on real client engagements.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare various tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporate clients.
• Tax Issue Identification: Identify potential tax issues and create tax adjusting entries and trial balances based on audited or client-provided data.
• Client Workflow Support: Assist the team with daily client workflow and administrative tasks.
• Professional Collaboration: Collaborate with experienced professionals across diverse industries on client engagements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility, with a minimum 3.2 GPA overall and in major, including successful completion of Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
• Experience: Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking, comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change, and possess advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
