• Mission: This intern will support client tax needs by assisting with tax planning, research, and return preparation across various federal and state tax specialties.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaboration: Collaborate with a team focusing on diverse tax specialty areas including corporate, individual, and not-for-profit taxation, as well as accounting for income taxes and M&A.
• Tax Operations: Conduct tax planning initiatives and perform comprehensive tax research for various clients.
• Return Preparation: Prepare accurate federal and state & local tax returns according to regulatory guidelines.
• Regulatory Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of current tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent in Accounting from an accredited university.
• Experience: 90 credit hours completed; ability to travel to client locations with reliable transportation.
• Skills: Foundational accounting principles.
• Bonus: A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to work effectively on a team; ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
