Tax Intern | Minth North America, Inc.

The intern will support crucial tax functions across various areas, contributing to compliance and planning within a global company.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Corporate Tax: Assist in preparing federal, state, and local income/franchise tax returns and supporting workpapers.
• R&D Tax Credit: Gather and analyze data to support R&D tax credit studies, including documenting qualified research activities and expenses.
• Transfer Pricing: Support preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports by collecting financial and operational data from various business units.
• Property Tax: Assist with gathering property tax data and supporting documentation, including preparing returns and assessments.
• General Tax Projects: Conduct basic tax research, summarize findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely and accurate reporting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student who has completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Experience: No prior experience required; prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications, knowledge of financial principles and concepts.
