Position Summary

Teleflex is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our dynamic Tax department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting both the International and Domestic Tax teams, as well as outside consultants, with essential tasks related to the compliance process and quarterly provision process. This position requires basic accounting skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Internship Details:

• Location: Wayne, PA office.
• On-site Requirement: Candidate must be available to be onsite a minimum of 3 days/week.
• Work Hours: A minimum of 20 hours per week while in school during the Spring 2026 semester.
• Duration: Potential to extend the internship into Summer 2026.

Principal Responsibilities

As a Tax Intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the preparation of Federal and State Tax returns and their supporting workpapers.
• Aiding in the preparation of the annual and quarterly tax provision calculations, ensuring compliance with ASC 740.
• Responding to state notices and providing support in tax audits.
• Assisting with various federal & state tax-related projects and research.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing an accounting or finance degree.
• Minimum of 2-3 years completed towards an accounting or finance degree.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Completion of basic accounting/finance/business courses is required; intermediate accounting courses are preferred.
• A basic understanding of balance sheets and income statements is a must.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
