What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Planning & Industry Exposure: Gain a comprehensive understanding of and actively assist in the planning phase for a variety of tax assignments, encompassing diverse industries such as Real Estate, Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and more.
• Tax Return Preparation & Review: Systematically prepare and meticulously review federal and state tax returns, covering various entity types including partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and individual taxpayers.
• Compliance, Audits & Specialized Returns: Develop specialized knowledge in tax compliance, providing support with IRS audits, formulating responses to tax notices, and assisting with the preparation of complex trust, gift, and estate returns.
• Client Project Management: Actively participate in client assignments, contributing from their initial stages through to successful completion, ensuring a hands-on learning experience in project lifecycle management.
• Client Relationship & Professionalism: Cultivate and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of client staff to enhance customer satisfaction, strengthen client bonds, and consistently provide exceptional service while upholding the highest professional standards and client confidentiality.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; this is an Entry-Level opportunity for individuals building a foundational understanding in accounting or a related financial domain.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are mandated. Candidates should possess a demonstrated capability for effective verbal and written communication across all organizational levels, internally and externally. This role requires the ability to multi-task efficiently, think independently, and apply problem-solving skills within a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills are essential. Strong verbal and written communication abilities are required to articulate complex information clearly. Proficient computer and technical skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software, are also critical.
• Bonus: A Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is strongly preferred. Active involvement in student organizations or previous work experience in accounting or a related financial field would be considered a significant advantage, though not strictly required.
