What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Assist clients with their tax planning, compliance, and consulting needs.
• Team Oversight: Supervise and allocate the work of shared services team members and interns.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and/or review tax provisions for financial statements, including coordination and collaboration with the audit team.
• Tax Document Management: Analyze, prepare, and review tax workpapers and returns, estimated payments, and extensions.
• Regulatory Response: Research and draft technical memoranda for compliance and consulting projects, and respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Technology Development: Build capabilities in key technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, and Power BI to enhance client service delivery.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed in the past 12 months a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, information technology, data and analytics, engineering (financial, industrial or systems), or an equivalent program from an accredited college or university. Must be pursuing the state-specific education requirements for CPA licensure in the principal place of business, with academic credits completed prior to the start date.
