This is a full-time Staff Accountant role, located in Owasso, OK. What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Processing: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice coding, payment processing, and donor/grant receipts.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and various account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Close Support: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and conducting account analysis.
• Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, ensuring transactions are properly classified by fund, program, and grant.
• Reporting & Compliance: Support the preparation of financial statements, internal reports, and documentation for annual audits and Form 990, while also assisting with grant and contract financial reporting to ensure funder compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a working knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with nonprofit fund accounting principles.
• Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Blackbaud Financial Edge) and Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Bonus: Nonprofit or fund accounting experience is a plus.
