• Team: Engagement Team (Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, Partners)
• Mission: Become familiar with current tax theories and laws, performing procedures in accordance with firm standards and in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner for various clients.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Work on a variety of client deliverables, including the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Identify: Pinpoint potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client-provided trial balances.
• Research: Investigate filing requirements and tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regulations, and other relevant authorities or guidance.
• Manage: Handle daily client workflow and multiple client projects concurrently.
• Draft: Create tax technical memorandums.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, with a plan to complete 150 credit hours by September 2027 in order to be CPA licensed.
• Experience: Prior work or internship experience; experience in accounting is a plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, sharp critical thinking, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Bonus: Leadership positions in extracurricular activities are preferred.
