• Mission: This role helps clients across diverse industries by providing essential tax preparation and assurance support, ensuring compliance, maximizing tax benefits, and assisting in business process understanding.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Participate actively in client engagement meetings and travel to client sites (10-40% travel may be required) as an Assurance intern.
• Report Preparation: Prepare accounting-related reports for clients across a variety of industries, contributing to informed decision-making in Assurance roles.
• Tax Return Completion: Complete individual and business tax returns, handling varying difficulty levels across numerous industries as a Tax intern.
• Tax Benefit Analysis: Analyze complex tax situations to ensure the application of maximum tax benefits for clients, optimizing their financial outcomes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and on track to sit for your CPA license.
• Experience: Entry-level role requiring a keen interest in learning about various client business processes and a willingness to travel to different client locations for assurance assignments.
• Skills: Inquisitive and enjoys learning; adept at multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines; committed to holding yourself to the highest professional standards and maintaining strict client confidentiality.
• Bonus: Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
