Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Fixed-Term Contract) | Convene
The Tone:
This is a fixed-term contract role at Convene, located in New York City (hybrid). Convene Hospitality Group operates a global portfolio of lifestyle brands, designing, developing, and operating hospitality-driven destinations for various gatherings. This position plays a vital role in driving the Hospitality Service Team recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for candidates and hiring teams while contributing to the success of a global organization.
The TL;DR

• Mission: Own the coordination of the Hospitality Service Team recruitment process, from advertising to onboarding, to support the success of a global organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recruitment Coordination: Assist in creating and posting compelling job advertisements on various platforms and collaborate with hiring teams to review applications and screen high-potential candidates.
• Hiring Event & Interview Support: Coordinate the running of hiring events and schedule interviews for Service Team recruitment, acting as the main point of contact for candidates during the interview process.
• Onboarding And Compliance: Manage onboarding documentation, including reference checks and other pre-employment requirements, and input and maintain accurate candidate information in recruitment and HR systems.
• Data And Reporting: Maintain and update tracking tools to accurately reflect the current status of candidates and ensure all relevant systems and processes are kept up to date.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with hiring teams to understand and update staffing on a monthly basis, supporting them in forecasting and communicating their hiring needs to meet business demands.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Core domain knowledge in People & Culture, specifically recruitment coordination.
• Experience: Experience with high-volume recruitment and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with Greenhouse experience a plus.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, clear written and verbal communication, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in recruitment systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools.
• Bonus: Spanish language proficiency.
