Talent Acquisition Co-Op | Arora Engineers

The Tone:
This is a Co-Op position at Arora Engineers, located in Philadelphia, PA. Arora Engineers is a nationally recognized firm that provides engineering services for intelligent infrastructure solutions across aviation, transportation, education, government, and commercial/institutional sectors. Through smart design, construction management, and facilities maintenance management, the company helps clients stay at the cutting edge and adds significant value to projects. This role is crucial in supporting the Talent Acquisition team by attracting, engaging, and identifying top talent, directly contributing to the firm’s growth and success.

What You’ll Actually Do
Source Talent: Proactively identify and engage prospective candidates across diverse platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and professional networks, to build a robust talent pipeline for various engineering, aviation, construction, and corporate positions.
Evaluate Candidates: Thoroughly review resumes and conduct initial outreach to evaluate candidate qualifications against specific job requirements, ensuring alignment with Arora Engineers’ talent needs.
Facilitate Engagement: Assist with introductory screening conversations, coordinate interview scheduling, and manage candidate communication to ensure a positive and smooth experience throughout the hiring process.
Support Campus Relations: Actively contribute to university relations efforts, participate in campus recruiting initiatives and career fairs, and support early-career hiring programs to attract emerging talent.
Manage Data: Accurately maintain candidate records and track all recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), supporting efficient recruiting operations and data integrity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled Bachelor’s degree student in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. Junior or Senior standing preferred, with an expected graduation date within 12–18 months preferred.
• Experience: Strong interest in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Human Resources, or Business Operations.
• Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment.
• Bonus: Previous internship, co-op, customer service, sales, marketing, recruiting, or leadership experience; experience using LinkedIn, Handshake, or other professional networking platforms; familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or recruiting technologies.
