SupplySight Field Service Representative | R.S. Hughes Company, Inc.

The TL;DR

• Location: Field-based, at customer facilities
• Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 hourly
• Team: Reports to Sales Management, works closely with the corporate SupplySight Operations team
• Mission: Maximize customer experience by ensuring optimal inventory is present and ready for use within their facilities.
• Tech Stack: Basic Excel, internal ERP, Web-Based Platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Program Support: Provide exceptional customer service by directly delivering SupplySight program support at the customer’s facility, serving as a first line of contact for product questions, additions, and changes.
• Program Optimization: Develop strong relationships with key customer personnel and engage in discussions aimed at continuously improving the SupplySight program.
• Inventory Management: Maintain organized inventory in accordance with R.S. Hughes policies, ensuring proper labeling, storage, handling, and packaging for all materials, including temperature and time-sensitive items.
• Product Presentation: Develop an understanding of major product groupings and products to effectively service, stock, and present solutions while at the customer facility.
• Onsite Resupply & Equipment: Utilize company vehicles to efficiently resupply onsite Inventory Management (IM) programs, ensuring precise inventory levels are sustained, and service/maintain equipment at customer sites.
• Order Fulfillment Support: Oversee and assist with preparing customer orders prior to delivering them to customer facilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A minimum of a high school diploma is required.
• Experience: A valid state-issued driver’s license is required for this field-based role, which involves utilizing company vehicles.
• Skills: Effective communication and organizational skills, a strong work ethic with a focus on results, detail-orientation, strong problem-solving capabilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The ability to work independently and within a team is important. Basic Excel and data analysis skills are also essential, along with the ability to adapt and become proficient in internal ERP and web-based platforms.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, merchandising, or a related field is highly preferred. Additionally, 1 year of B2B Sales and/or Merchandising / Operations experience is desired.
