The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site rotational program located at Nordstrom’s Fulfillment and Distribution Centers on the East Coast. Nordstrom, founded in 1901, is a specialty retailer focused on offering the latest fashion, with its Supply Chain team crucial for seamlessly delivering merchandise to delight customers. This accelerated development program is designed to prepare future leaders by building foundational leadership, analytical, and communication skills through practical application alongside experienced managers and senior leadership, contributing to Nordstrom’s continued employee growth and success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Leadership Skills: Participate in trainings, meetings, and workshops that cultivate leadership and management skills.
• Support Operations: Execute daily departmental processes alongside current Supply Chain Operations Managers to meet goals and objectives.
• Gain Operational Understanding: Rotate between departments, shifts, or buildings to gain a deeper understanding of operations.
• Coach and Mentor: Coach and mentor warehouse associates to drive performance and professional development.
• Improve Performance: Use data and analysis to improve departmental performance and communicate effectively on KPIs and project progress.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Anticipated graduation between January 2026 and December 2026, or graduated within the last 18 months.
• Experience: 0–1 year of formal or informal people-leadership experience, or 2+ years of warehouse/fulfillment experience in a DC/FC.
• Skills: Analytical skills (using data), effective communication, coaching and mentoring, problem-solving (operational issues), understanding of warehouse systems and continuous improvement processes, prioritizing safety.
