About Honda’s Co-op/Internship Program:
Honda prides itself on providing valuable, hands-on experience for its co-ops and interns. Interns are assigned project-based work directly relevant to their department’s needs, avoiding menial tasks. Projects can range from developing tests and designing systems to working with suppliers and managing projects. Beyond their assigned work, interns participate in paid events like Q&A sessions with senior associates, facility tours, social events, and volunteer opportunities. About the Supply Chain & Operations Co-op/Intern Position:
This role offers multiple openings across various departments within Honda’s supply chain, purchasing, and operations. The work environment and specific projects vary, but potential duties include:
• Cost Planning: Creating cost management databases and analysis tools using Microsoft Excel and Access; preparing Request-for-Quotes (RFQs) for suppliers; analyzing quotes for accuracy; comparing costs to standards and targets.
Required Qualifications:
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (sponsorship is not available).
• General business coursework.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (transcript required).
• Sophomore status (or higher) in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week (May-August 2025).
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Reliable transportation to and from work is mandatory; public transportation and ride-sharing services may be limited in some locations. Regular in-person attendance is required.
Desired Qualifications:
• Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Engineering coursework.
Position Locations:
The positions are available in the following locations: Marysville, Ohio; Anna, Ohio; Raymond, Ohio; East Liberty, Ohio; Russells Point, Ohio; Troy, Ohio; and Greensburg, Indiana. Location preferences will be considered during the selection process.
